An Evening With Riders In The Sky

For more than thirty years Riders In The Sky have been keepers of the flame passed on by the Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry and Roy Rogers, reviving and revitalizing the genre. And while remaining true to the integrity of Western music, they have themselves become modern-day icons by branding the genre with their own legendary wacky humor and way-out Western wit, and all along encouraging buckaroos and buckarettes to live life "The Cowboy Way!"
Riders In The Sky are exceptional not just in the sense that their music is of superlative standards (they are the ONLY exclusively Western artist to have won a Grammy, and Riders have won two), but by the fact that their accomplishments are an exception to the rule as well.
The best in Western music since 1977. Award-winning harmonies, wacky Western wit and high-yodeling adventures. “It's the Cowboy Way!” All ages show! This will be the first performance of Riders In The Sky at the Brown County Playhouse!

SUPERSTAR - The Songs. The Stories of The Carpenters

“Superstar is not a tribute “concert”, but an original, fresh perspective of songs peppered with vignettes that finally captures the quality and essence of The Carpenters” – BROADWAY WORLD 2019
There’s a reason why Richard Carpenter, himself, gave Helen his blessing to bring Superstar to life. The show is not a tribute act. Rather, it is a one-of-a-kind docu-musical featuring world-class musicians, fresh arrangements and fascinating and rare back-stage stories about the number one selling act of the 1970’s – The Carpenters.
Helen Welch is an internationally acclaimed vocalist, actress, and Grammy nominee. Helen’s distinctive alto voice settles in perfectly amidst her precise, lush arrangements as she brings to life the timeless music of the Carpenters. According to Broadway World, “Helen’s sophisticated vocals and humor leaves audiences breezily enchanted.”
