New Year's Eve Celebration

Celebrate New Year's Eve in Brown County, Indiana. Begin at the Brown County Playhouse at 7 pm with the showing of the classic movie “Sleepless in Seattle” with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan, rated R. Beer, wine, and champagne will be sold in the auditorium.

After the movie, walk across the street to “Out of the Ordinary Restaurant and Hickory Sports Bar for a hot/cold appetizer buffet, cash bar and midnight toast. Dance the night away to the sounds of The” O” So Good Band” featuring Russell W. Moss & Lauren Robert.

Cost: $52.50 person, 21 and over event. This annual event sells out so get your tickets early.

Brown County Youth Music Showcase Join us for the 5th annual Brown County Youth Music Showcase. Enjoy a delightful evening of Brown County's most talented residents, produced by and emcee Kara Barnard. This is a fundraiser for the BETA Teen Center. 2nd annual Shimmy and Shake 2nd Annual Nashville Indiana Shimmy & Shake - Different Drummer Belly Dancers mix traditional belly dancing and modern music. They believe the power, beauty, joy, and grace of belly dance can be expressed in our modern 20th and 21st century music. Audiences of all ages love it! In 2003, Margaret Lion decided to honor her passion for belly dancing to rock'n'roll and formed her own troupe. Since she was different and wanted her troupe to be different than those dancing around her, she named her troupe Different Drummer Belly Dancers (DDBD).
