The ultimate Elvis Tribute show starring the phenomenal Tyler Christopher! Elvis' contribution to Rock and Roll and American culture cannot be over-emphasized.
Elvis is such an icon that he became known simply as "The King". Throughout the evening audience members will go on a musical journey of three major historical periods in Elvis' career: The early years in the fifties when a young Elvis became an overnight sensation; The '68 Comeback Special when Elvis made his triumphant energized return from years in Hollywood; and finally the 70's when Elvis electrified audiences in Las Vegas and toured the country as a living musical icon.
Sponsored by Hills O' Brown Vacation Rentals
There are too many hits to list, but come and see all Elvis' amazing chart-topping songs such as Hound Dog, Don't Be Cruel, Heartbreak Hotel, Blue Suede Shoes, Suspicious Minds, and many, many more.
“The Art of Radio"
The show will last approximately 90 minutes including a Q&A session with David and Phil.
Ossman and Proctor were a part of the four-man team that made up the original “Firesign Theatre,” an iconic comedy group that got its start on listener-supported radio in Los Angeles in 1966. The group was nominated for three Grammy awards, and was named by Entertainment magazine as one of the “Thirty Greatest Acts of All Time.” The other two members of the Firesign team, Peter Bergman and Phil Austin, have passed away.
Proctor, of Amish and Irish origins, originally hails from Goshen, Indiana, but the group has never performed in the Hoosier state, even though there has been speculation (neither confirmed nor denied) that the town of “Billville,” celebrated in works such as “Boom dot Bust” was in fact based on Bloomington.
