The Brown County Playhouse is pleased to announce open call auditions for the new musical, “2020: COVID the Musical” created, written, scored, and directed by award-winning playwright Ashton Wolf.
Open call auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, September 13 & 14, 2021, at the Brown County Playhouse located at 70 S Van Buren St, Nashville, IN 47448.
Auditions are from 7-9:30 pm
*There is pay - $1,000 for rehearsals and 6 performances.
Rehearsals begin at the top of October. Performances are Nov. 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 at the Brown County Playhouse.
We are seeking 7 dynamic performers who sing, dance and act! There are no specific character breakdowns. Any and all types are encouraged to audition. All ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Handicapped people are encouraged to audition.
16 years of age and older (no other age or age range limitations are required.)
Please prepare 16 bars of Standard Musical Theatre or Contemporary Pop / Rock. You may be asked to perform a basic dance audition.
An accompanist is provided, but MP3 and backing tracks are acceptable.
You may be asked to read and sing from the script and score.
