DESCRIPTION:The Brown County Playhouse in Nashville\, Indiana\, welcomes blues icons John Primer & The Real Deal Blues Band\, joined by openers Jon McDonald & Tom Harold\, on Saturday\, February 10\, 2024\, at 7:30 p.m. \nAs a young man\, guitarist\, vocalist\, and bandleader John Primer learned Chicago blues with the masters. Primer performed regularly with legends such as Muddy Waters\, Willie Dixon\, and was a long-term band leader for Magic Slim & The Teardrops. Primer is one of the few truly-authentic Chicago bluesmen touring and recording today. He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2023. \nPrimer’s long list of honors and accolades speak to his experience and reputation for engaging a live audience\, including: Two-time Grammy® Award nominee; Blues Artist of the Year — Living Blues critic’s poll award; Traditional Blues Artist of the Year — Blues Music Award; Lifetime Achievement Award\, Live Album of the Year\, and Traditional Blues Album of the Year — Blues Blast Awards \nGuitarist McDonald\, like Primer\, is an alumni of Magic Slim and The Teardrops\, and a performer on Primer’s tribute album to Slim. Harold is an Indianapolis-based harmonica player and vocalist with the Gordon Bonham Blues Band. \nThis show is presented with support from Brown County Inn\, 51 IN-46\, Nashville\, IN 47448. DESCRIPTION:A favorite on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show\, Greg has also appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien\, Comedy Central\, CBS\, ABC\, FOX\, MTV and CMT.\nGreg Hahn has parlayed his absurdly energetic\, all out style of physical humor\, one liners and crowd work into a performance of immediate pandemonium and continuous laughs. His unique stylings have led to numerous television\, corporate and theater appearances throughout the US and Canada. \nDave “The King” Wilson\, a world renowned stand-up comedian of 11 years\, has been an Indianapolis radio listeners’ companion for longer than that. First in 1983 to 1995 with Bob & Tom on Q-95 and then as the longtime host of the WIBC afternoon show\, Dave has become part of the Indy landsape. A native of Speedway\, Wilson grew up less than a mile from the Brickyard and spent a great deal of time at the track during May as a youth\, just as he now does as an adult.
