SUMMARY:The Gordon Lightfoot Tribute
DESCRIPTION:A stunning stage show that replicates the songs\, stories\, styles\, and moods of the Canadian singer-songwriter’s BEST\, performed by Mike Fornes! His portrayal of Gordon Lightfoot is simply an honest effort to entertain with an accurate representation of a Gordon Lightfoot concert. Fornes tireless research and personal interaction with Lightfoot have led to accurate mannerisms\, speaking patterns\, clothing\, and identical guitars used by the Canadian icon on stage.\nOn stage\, he demonstrates his love of the timeless music that captured millions during the 1960s\, 1970s\, and 1980s. His catalog of Lightfoot’s music includes 77 songs that he chooses from in concert! Rarely does he break character\, usually only to introduce the band or give a personal message before the show’s conclusion. Mike is backed by four talented musicians who play the roles of Gordon Lightfoot’s stage band\, replicating parts heard on recordings and in live performances. So get ready for a visual\, acoustic trip from the Great Lakes to the Canadian Rockies; through the pains of lost loves and haunting melodies.\nJoin us for a memorable evening of music in the intimacy of the historic Playhouse in Nashville\, Indiana! \nBUT TICKETS
